Summer nights

When the heat of the day affords little reprieve, dawn and sundown bring a welcome lowering of temperatures, the blissful suggestion of a cool breeze, a second wave of energy and new life to the city. People go home to shower and shake off the dust, dirt and stress of the day, donning fresh and fabulous fashion for evening aperitivi, dinner and passeggiata. This is definitely a culture I could get used to - even without the wardrobe.
