Ours is a different relationship now.
There is a subtle change between city and visitor, borne of some familiarity and a shift in focus between Septembers.
The first flushes of childlike enthusiasm and boundless wonder have evolved into a longer path of questioning, curiosity and learning. All now possible with the luxury of time.
Time to invest in delving beyond the obvious and exploring more of what lies beneath - discovering your full character. It is both fascinating and contradictory.
More now rests upon the success of this relationship, though I dont imagine you notice my presence.
Many have gone before, helping create your rich colour, passion, heart and history. You are their legacy and happily now my rich resource.
