Though highly regarded during his lifetime as an artist 'without errors', his renown was eclipsed after his death by that of his contemporaries - Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Rafael. However this beautiful work remains, is freely accessible and oftentimes there is no-one else there to impede the view. A perfect start to Sunday. :)
